Last in the Steiff limited edition series of Asterix, Cacofonix is the village bard. He is a talented musician and teacher who is well liked by his fellow villagers. His downfall is his dreadful singing voice.
Cacofonix is made from mohair and printed synthetic velour fabrics. He wears a vibrant outfit consisting of a blue and white check shirt, with matching blue shoes, a green belt and red cape, and he holds a velour lyre harp. His moustache and hair are made from bright yellow mohair.
Originally issued exclusively to European countries other than the Germany, Ireland and the UK, Gutamine (number 570 of the edition) has a gold-plated Steiff button in ear and comes boxed with a certificate.
