Laura Mirjami, from Helsinki, studied paper conservation before working as an upholsterer of antique furniture. This career path drew her to textiles and then to bears, made fron vintage materials. In 2008 she discovered a tweed mill 14 miles from Witney and has since made her distinctive bears from their materials.
